Project Overview
The YMCA Sutton Coldfield branch has been doing some fantastic work supporting young carers in the area. But they wanted to take things to the next level, by showcasing and understanding the real impact of their young carers programme, to secure more grants and reach even more young carers from nearby schools. That’s where JMK & Co came in. Working alongside another consultant, we created user surveys before conducting on-site service user and staff interviews. With the results of both compiled into an impact report which showcased the difference YMCA Sutton Coldfield are making in the lives of local young carers.
Project Outcome
We’re still in the process of editing the final draft, but the feedback so far has been positive. The young carers have shared some really moving stories about how YMCA Sutton Coldfield has made a difference in their lives, which is exactly the kind of insight we need to highlight. We’re confident that the final report will be a game-changer for YMCA, helping them to not only secure more grants but also to reach more young carers who need their support. With the right data and stories in hand, they’ll be able to expand their impact and continue making a real difference in their local community.
