Learn To Love To Read (L2L2R) is a charity dedicated to inspiring a love of reading in young children. However, as they expanded, their CRM system struggled to meet their needs—it was outdated, hard to use, and ultimately limiting their ability to reach more children. Seeking a solution, L2L2R reached out to LinkUp London for volunteer support in finding a new CRM. As a volunteer with LinkUp London, I stepped in to assist L2L2R with this project. The objective? To find a CRM that not only meets their current needs but can also grow alongside them as their impact expands.
I conducted thorough research, exploring various CRM systems that could meet Learn To Love To Read’s needs. Assessing each option for usability, cost, scalability, and alignment with the charity’s objectives and operations. After collecting the data, I created a detailed report highlighting my recommendations and providing clear, actionable guidance for future project phases.

TL;DR: Working with Learn To Love To Read on this project was a fab experience! Not only did we identify a CRM that aligned with their growth plans, but we also provided them with the clarity to make an informed decision. Meaning they’re now better prepared to continue fostering a love of reading in more children. And as an avid reader, knowing that my research played a part in that? That’s the best outcome of all 🤓
