Julia - A multi-faceted consultant with a passion for teaching facilitation skills - Was in the process of creating a course called Facilitation 101—a comprehensive programme aimed at helping people master the art of facilitation. While she had all of the content sorted, she needed a solid system to organise all her facilitation knowledge and resources, along with a place to keep the slides for each session. Seeing as Julia was familiar with Notion - I’d previously supported her in creating a page for a charity networks she supports - She decided to once again enlist my Notion services. Together we were able to build a centralised platform for Facilitation 101.
We approached the project in stages, starting with understanding the structure of the course and the specific needs of participants. From there, we designed and built a system that included everything from content organisation, to resource libraries. Throughout the process, Julia and I worked closely together, ensuring that the system aligned perfectly with her branding and vision for the course.
The collaboration with Julia resulted in a powerful Notion system that became the backbone of her Facilitation 101 course. Here’s what we accomplished:
TL;DR: As this project was all about creating a system that worked for Julia and her course participants. The Notion platform we developed together wasn’t just a tool—it was a vital part of delivering a high-quality learning experience. For Julia, it meant more time spent on what she loves—teaching facilitation skills—and less time worrying about admin. A win for everyone involved! "Janinah did a fantastic job on creating a new Notion system for my Facilitation training resources. She could quickly intuit what I needed and what would work best for the resources - and created something which looks great and works really well. I loved working with her and would highly recommend her!"
