Thirty Percy, a forward-thinking social purpose organisation, was already familiar with using their Notion system, but they felt there was more they could do with it. They were using Notion as a basic project management tool, but knew it had untapped potential that could help them operate more effectively and align better with their mission. And so having heard about my love for Notion they brought me in for an in-person training session. The purpose? To progress their use of Notion, so all team members actively use the system. To help with this we made sure the session was hands-on and interactive, designed to resonate with everyone from the Notion novices to the more seasoned users within the Thirty Percy team.
During our time together, we covered the essentials—like organising their workspace and using databases—before exploring more advanced features i.e. project management and sub-task workflows.
The training session had an immediate and positive impact on Thirty Percy’s operations. Here’s what we achieved:
TL;DR: The collaboration with Thirty Percy was all about unlocking potential—both in the Notion platform and within the team itself. By the end of our session, they weren’t just better at using Notion; they were better equipped to push forward with their mission, with a more streamlined and efficient approach.
"Janinah ran a brilliant introduction to no-code tool Notion training for the Thirty Percy team. She was so enthusiastic, open and creative and a dream to work with. I'd highly recommend working with her for all things Notion and beyond. She has a really unique take on all things system design and designing appropriate knowledge systems."
